Amanda Dellow, E-RYT .
Amanda Dellow, E-RYT, first fell in love with yoga more than a decade ago. What was initially inspired by a desire to be in better shape has evolved over the years into a way of living fully. Amanda has a deep understanding of traditional yoga practices and modern yoga science, bringing a well rounded yet playful approach to her classes that will leave you relaxed and at ease. She truly has a passion for helping others enrich their lives through the practice of Yoga and empowering each person to become more comfortable in their body and to live in it with purpose, power, and intent. Her classes will help you build strength, increase stamina, develop flexibility and also bring relaxation and ease into your busy life! The practical teachings of yoga have helped her overcome so many hurdles and also showed her the joy found in so many things, big and small. Her practice began in 2004 with a lovely, sassy little woman who encouraged her to go deeper, to seek more teachers and inspired her to grow her practice. She is so grateful to the many teachers she has studied with throughout this wonderful journey and it is her intention to honor all of them in the way she shares the teachings of yoga. After surviving a near fatal trauma accident in 2010, she suffered with PTSD while rebuilding her physical body and this experience led her to the practice of Yoga Nidra. She continues to teach and practice yoga nidra regularly. This practice is regarded as her most important offering by her highest teachers, due to its simplicity and amazing healing benefits. When she is not in the studio, she is raising two teens, reading books, snuggling sweet pup Winston, making smoothies, loving live music, burning

Yoga can be so personal. Each asana can be a silent conversation between one persons mind, body and soul. That's why each person's practice is so unique and so necessary. After every class, I am always so full of gratitude and joy and peace because of what I was able to witness. We come together and share our unique practices with others and every time it creates this big, bright energy that is so colorful. So original. Just like the rainbow wall at the back of our studio. 😊 I am just here hoping to facilitate and be apart of as many rainbows as possible.

Frankie Mash
AAAI/ISMA (Phase I & II, Advanced), Samatone Yoga, Iyengar (2,500+ teaching hours since 2007). A consistent yoga practice has been a gift in my life. It has allowed me to learn about myself and to learn about others. The practice enables balance to be the key factor for the mind and body to work together. The teaching has allowed me to inspire others while encouraging students to give each posture its own energy stream. The posture becomes different each and every day according to our own individual life experiences. It feels good knowing that every practice will be special. Our studio is a welcoming and soothing environment yet fired with positive energy. We have an amazing staff who constantly strive to give each person the best practice at each visit. The studio, the people, and the asanas provide a comfortable place to just BE….with your Breath and Energy.
Jamie Reeves, RYT .
200-RYT Gentle Yoga Jamie is a Yoga and Reiki teacher, long time musician, songwriter, and Mother. Yoga has been a part of my life for over 10 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, as well as overcome severe anxiety and depression. Yoga inspires me to live each moment mindfully, and to show myself compassion on and off the mat. I completed my 200 hour gentle yoga training with Studio108 in 2011, have immersed myself in the practice of Kundalini and mantra meditation and I am currently studying Thai Yoga massage. I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me. In my classes I love to combine sensation focused techniques, deep opening poses, as well as muscular/mind relaxation. I use sound and vibration for healing in the form of singing bowls, native american flute, guitar, drums, and voice. I seek to help others thrive and live by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga and sound, and my hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.

AAAI/ISMA (Phase I & II, Advanced), Samatone Yoga, (2,600 teaching hours since 2006). I am a wife and mom of 3 lovely, lively children. When I discovered yoga and walked into Suze’s amazing studio – I never looked back! I am devoted to my practice, and to getting on my mat and digging deep within myself to heal and transform emotionally as well as physically. Yoga has literally changed my life and my outlook on my surroundings – I have more positivity, compassion, and desire in my life. Yoga has brought balance, vitality, and calmness into my world. The gift of energy I gain from my practice has been invaluable to me, especially in raising 3 young kids! I desire to share this wonderful experience with all who attend my class and I hope to be able to bring the integrity of yoga into their lives.
Jennifer Smith, PT, MPT Smith
AAAI/ISMA (Phase I & II, Advanced), Samatone Yoga (5,800 teaching hours since 1998). I could easily go on and on about the powerful effects of my yoga practice at Suze’s, as could many. I think it’s best summed up as – A constant. My practice at Suze's Yoga has been a vital, unyielding constant in the ebb and tide of my life when many situations and people I thought would be, weren’t. The renewal of perspective, confidence and sense of clarity that happens through the movement, sweat and release of each class is what continues to bring me back to my mat. I truly appreciate the abundance of variety in spirit, personality and shape of my fellow classmates and students – it’s a reminder that we’re all in this together, and for a blissful moment in time, it’s right here in this studio. So, why do I instruct solely at Samatone Yoga by DPYP!? Simply because there is, and never will be, anything else like it; and, to be a part of it is one of my greatest blessings.
Kate Doden
I joined Suze's yoga as a birthday present to myself 3 years, x number of pounds, and minus 2 kids ago. I flung myself into class, not knowing what to expect, self conscious, and completely unaware. But I stuck with it. Literally, in one month I felt, and looked like a new person. Each class brought movement, challenge, heat and stillness. I've been athletic/in the gym in some way all my life, so for me the physical challenge has always been the fun and easy part. The real challenge for me was the stillness and quiet. Letting go and just breathing was the hardest part. I learned to close my eyes and disregard how I looked from the outside and how to feel the pose from the inside out. This allowed me to drop pounds of anxiety, and from that came clarity, precision, and joy. For me - Yoga is fun. it feels good. It brings balance. I believe I am now in the best physical, emotional, and mental health I've ever been in. As a mother of 2 (crazy, little) boys, Yoga is the gift I give myself so that I can keep up with a non-stop life and maintain. It allows me to have something (a practice) that is truly mine, apart from kiddos and husband- yet at the same time without a doubt makes me a better mommy and wife. My deepest desire is to pass-on this amazing gift to all of you who share breath & sweat with me each time we enter this beautiful space and practice.
Kelly Kehl
I'm a thirty year corporate veteran in high pressure technology sales, wife and mother of three beautiful children. I tried yoga for a physical workout, I returned for savasana, the only waking moment I was ever still. It is clear to me that my yoga practice provided the critical balance that I needed in my hectic life. Today, I want to help others find that balance. Yoga helped me increase flexibility and build strength and endurance but the true gift of the practice is the attention to calmness and the quieting of the mind. It is those features of yoga that leads to more acceptance of yourself and others, more peace and compassion and increased presence in every moment - incredible side benefits to a rigorous physical workout! Come practice with me and walk out feeling calmer, healthier and happier than when you walked in!
Kim Sultan
AAAI/ISMA (Phase I & II, Advanced), Samatone Yoga (4,500 teaching hours since 2002). I began my yoga journey in the summer of 1999. It has been a sweet, joyous, centering ride ever since. As a yoga instructor, I’m known by many for having an off-beat sense of humor, but this is just one of my many facets as a yoga instructor. Although I challenge each student to have faith in their bodies and test the boundaries that may be holding them back, I do so with compassion and understanding for what it takes for each individual to begin their own exploration of yoga in their life. I like to believe that my classes are uplifting and inspiring. I see students working on asanas, breathing, alignment, poses, grace and lots of laughter. I do my best to infuse sweetness and loving, playful energy into each of my classes, for all to enjoy. Sometimes yoga can feel serious and uncomfortable. I try to remove the fear of the unknown and let my students’ hearts speak from the truth that is within. My overall goal as an instructor is to help the students believe, trust and recognize the strength each one of them possesses inside. I want every student to walk away from the studio embracing their individuality and feeling that they have awakened a deeper awareness, knowing that no voice is better than their own.
Lisa Watkins, RYT
AAAI/ISMA (Phase I & II, Advanced), Samatone Yoga (2,000 teaching hours since 2008). For me, yoga has been evolving and life changing in ways I hadn’t expected. Since the age of five, sports and exercise have been a huge part of my life. Always extremely active, I’ve always been involved in soccer, track, softball, volleyball, running, weights, exercise classes, and anything else to keep me strong and fit. It wasn’t until much later that I realized the importance of giving as much attention to my mental/emotional health. In 1997 when I moved away from my hometown and away from my usual means for fitness I decided to try out a yoga video, mostly as a way to relieve stress. Over the next several years I stayed involved in yoga on and off when I could find it at different gyms I belonged to. I began to enjoy it more and more as I found yoga that challenged me and gave me a great workout. It wasn’t until I joined Samatone Yoga by DPYP! that my yoga practice became much more than a way to break a sweat and stay in shape. Unexpectedly, over these last few years, yoga has gone from a “workout” to a lifestyle in many ways. I feel like I have truly become more aware of how my thoughts and emotions show up in my physical body. This awareness in turn has allowed me to understand that I can’t have physical health without taking equal care of my mind and spirit. And while it can be frustrating to find the struggles of life show up as struggles in my practice, it is equally empowering to find the principles of yoga play out in my everyday life in my approach to hard times and my overall outlook on life. Not only do I see the connection to yoga and my own life, but it has be such a natural complement to my career as a therapist. I know that yoga will forever be an integral part of my life and that there will always be room to grow and evolve in my personal practice, as a teacher and as a whole person.

AAAI/ISMA (Phase I & II, Advanced) - Samatone Yoga - 40-Hour Yoga Alliance 'Principles of Teaching & Adjustments - 1,500 teaching hours since 2009. Yoga and I have been in a relationship since 2003. When you find the fountain of youth – you stick with it. That is how I see my practice. I taught aerobics in the late 80′s and later ‘was into weight training. When I heard about yoga – like many others – I didn’t think it would be enough of a work-out for me. Since 2003, yoga fills my exercise routine. To find something that strengthens and tones my body, harmonizes my inside & outside world and brings flexibility and youth – THAT is the “the real secret”. When I started at Suze’s studio, I was FAR from flexible. Everything – from an old neck injury – to arthritis in my hip -to low back pains from lifting my twins – inhibited me from feeling in good physical shape Yoga brought me out of this state of feeling “older” and into a state of feeling “younger”. Along with flexibility – also on my mind is osteoarthritis – apparent in both my mother and grandmother. The healing methods of yoga assist in combating these physical symptoms “if” passed on to me. Yoga is as challenging as you crave or as restorative as you need. Vertigo creates the challenge of balance in my poses. As I practice, if/when the room spins – I retrain my brain to focus on steady balance. Along with a healthy diet, I also maintain Hypoglycemia. My yoga practice is a tool to improve my health. Yoga is also my stress release – increasing my energy as it detoxifies my body. As moms we take care of everyone else; YET – only we can be responsible to take care of ourselves and to give back to ourselves. At 44, I truly feel like I’m in my 20s physically. My desire is to share the wonderful shift yoga has brought me with the amazing yogis in Suze’s studio.
Stacey Ferrari
After living in southern California for 18 years, my employer offered to move me back to Texas when my 19-year marriage dissolved late 2013. I moved to Dallas with a new job, new lifestyle, new city and didn’t know but a small handful of people. I went from a successful outside selling job to spending most days in my home at my computer and on the phone building a new business with very little people contact. Not wanting to go to bars to meet people, out to eat most of the time alone and still purging all the things from my previous home, shopping was out of the question. I had been active most of my life but wanted to find an exercise that didn’t destroy my knees and other joints. My neighbor brought me to Samatone for a Suze class on a Saturday with no after class scheduled. It was one of the best, most challenging activities I was ever involved with and touched me mentally and spiritually. I was hooked. This yoga practice truly saved me. I was suffering depression and severe loneliness. This studio became my sanctuary. It was not unusual for me to come to practice 6-7 days a week. No matter how bad I felt, I knew the (good) feeling and emotion I would have afterwards. Not only did I lose 20 pounds, my body shape changed. I am healthier now than when I was in my 40’s. Every practice enforces balance, strength, endurance and confidence that no matter what life issues show up, I can do this. Being able to share this with other people is sincerely an honor. Each time I teach, I relearn the importance of focus and the integrity of each pose and what it offers. I have a grateful heart and an abundance of gratitude to participate at Samatone and to share this practice with others.
